By accessing or using Snapress (“the Website”), you agree to these Terms of Service, subject to applicable law. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Website.

2. Aggregation & Source Attribution

Snapress is an automated news aggregation service. We process publicly available RSS feeds from news publishers and use AI to generate original, condensed summaries — we do not republish full articles or reproduce verbatim text from source publications.

• Original summaries: Our AI-assisted process rewrites factual content from source articles into short, original summaries rather than copying source text.
• Attribution: Every story links back to the original publisher (e.g. BBC, Reuters, Associated Press) with a “Read original source” link.
• Intellectual property: All original reporting, trademarks, and logos belong to their respective publishers. We aim to provide original summaries and attribution while respecting applicable copyright law; nothing in these Terms should be read as a legal determination that our use qualifies for any specific copyright exception in any jurisdiction.

3. Images & Photography

We take the following approach to sourcing images, and do not use press photographs embedded in publisher RSS feeds:

• Public figures: Where a story features a named public figure, we aim to source imagery from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons or Public Domain licenses.
• General topics: For other stories, we source stock imagery from providers such as Unsplash and Pexels.

We take reasonable steps to use appropriately licensed imagery, but as with any automated system, we cannot guarantee that every image is error-free at all times. If you believe an image has been used incorrectly, please contact us and we will review and address it promptly.

4. AI-Generated Summaries — Disclaimer

Summaries and “why it matters” context on Snapress are generated using AI models based on source RSS content.

• Summaries are provided for quick informational awareness only.
• They do not constitute legal, medical, financial, or investment advice.
• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or omissions. Readers should verify important details through the linked original source before relying on them.

5. Bookmarks (Saved Stories)

You may save stories for later using the “Save” feature. Saved stories are stored locally in your browser only. We do not guarantee saved bookmarks will persist if you clear your browser data or switch devices/browsers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to disrupt, overload, or attempt to abuse the Website, its API endpoints, or its underlying infrastructure. We may apply reasonable technical measures, including rate limiting, to maintain site availability and protect against abuse.

7. No Warranty / Limitation of Liability

The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snapress and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Website or its content.
